Recently, the UPBEAT project held its third General Assembly at RISE in Piteå, Sweden. We had many productive discussions on key topics, and focused on uncertainty predictions and sharing new methods to improve accuracy. We also talked about producing Ti64 using additive manufacturing, highlighting its potential uses. Additionally, we explored polymer composites and ways to enhance their properties. Overall, the assembly was a great success, encouraging collaboration and progress towards our goals.
One highlight was when RISE received the first test plate,
an important part for developing a material model for use in unceartainty propagation.
